Covid-19 PanICdemic/Plague:  Crunch Time:  Penniless, Homeless, Hopeless, Less? (July 27, 2020)

Posted in Covid / Coronavirus on July 27, 2020 by e-commentary.org

. . .

K          “We are still in the halcyon days of the Plague.  Yet we are entering the next stage when it starts to get real real.  Or real unreal.  Or real surreal.”

J          “I went on record as prognosticating ‘Winter’ a few weeks ago, yet I now believe the economic impact is hitting sooner and accelerating swiftly.”

. . .

K          “When the unemployment benefits expire at the end of the month, the pain will become much more real.”

J          “When the various moratoria on foreclosures expire at the end of the month,  the pain will become even more real.”

. . .

K          “The kids really cannot go back to school, but many of them will be forced to go back to school.”

J          “And of course the teachers must go back and assume even more risks than usual.  School will be a Mixmaster of the Virus.  Schools are said to be places of learning.  We will all learn shortly.”

Covid-19 PanICdemic/Plague:  The State Of The States:  Bailout Or Bankruptcy? (July 20, 2020)

Posted in Bailout/Bribe, Bankruptcy, Pensions on July 20, 2020 by e-commentary.org

. . .

K          “There was a time when folks went into government not to get rich but to do right.”

J          “They may have told themselves that they entered to do good but they ended up doing well.  At the well.”

. . .

K          “Well, their pensions are not well.”

J          “The well is drying up.”

. . .

J          “States cannot deficit spend.  They cannot print money.”

J          “States cannot keep taxing the public or they will lose their public.”

. . .

K          “The supreme court justices of each state who have reviewed the issue regarding pensions have totally and dishonestly disregarded the clear conflict of interest and demanded that payment of their pension is the highest priority obligation of the citizens and the state government.”

J          “I would like some courageous governor very publicly to send the bills to the supreme court justices and tell the public that the court is not paying the obligations it proclaims need to be paid.”

. . .

K          “The criminal enterprise known as the federal government has bailed out anyone affiliated with powerful lobbyists including hedge funds that were engaged in premeditated and systematic criminal activity.”

J          “So are pensions no less corrupt than and thus possibly as deserving as the handouts to the hedge funds?”

. . .

J          “The current generation has no moral or ethical obligation to pay the debts of the past generation when all of the benefits went to the past generation.”

K          “My thought is to pass legislation to allow for a state to file bankruptcy so the framework is there to trim the benefits to align with the benefits of other ordinary citizens.  Looking at the fees generated in the Detroit bankruptcy as a gauge, the fees for just one state filing bankruptcy likely will be three to four billion dollars.”

White Privilege At Play:  Born On First Base (July 13, 2020)

Posted in Gender, Race, Sports on July 13, 2020 by e-commentary.org

. . .

K          “I am not precisely sure who said it, but it has been said about Little George Bush and others.  They jump up and down on third base and proclaim they hit a triple without realizing they were born on third base.  White privilege is simple.  When you are White and particularly when you are male, you are at a minimum born on first base.”

J          “I have noticed it on some of the birth certificates that have resulted from my deliveries.  ‘White Boy, First Base, U.S.A.’  Life is a lot easier when you are born on first base.”

K          “According to official baseball regulations, it is 90 feet between each base on a baseball field and thus 90 feet from home plate to first base.  However, according to real life rules, it is really 180 feet from home plate to first base for the ordinary person.  And if there is one major settled conclusion among baseball pundits developed statistically over the last score years, it is a shared conviction that the key to scoring points and winning a game is simply getting a player on first base.  That is how one scores and that is how one wins.”

J          “Life is a lot easier when you are born on first base.  On a different playing field, they also say that the first million is the hardest million to get.  That goal is a lot easier to score . . . when you start out on first base.”

K          “The envelope please.  . . .  This year, the ‘Cameo In Courage’ Award is awarded to . . . Doctor Chris Martenson at Peak Prosperity who has presented and continues to present a regular detailed presentation and discussion of issues and challenges related to the Coronavirus / Covid-19 Plague.  With quiet conviction and factual facts, he has challenged the lies and propaganda of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the National Institute of Health (NIH), the American Medical Association (AMA), President Trumpi, the Surgeon General, the Main Stream Media (MSM), Corporate News Network (CNN), Faux News (Fox), Big Pharma (BG) and so many other institutions and individuals.  One benchmark of his veracity is the unrelenting criminal efforts by the Internet gate keepers such as Google/YouTube and Facebook and Twitter to block his presentations.”
