Covid-19 PanICdemic/Plague:  Crunch Time:  Penniless, Homeless, Hopeless, Less? (July 27, 2020)

K          “We are still in the halcyon days of the Plague.  Yet we are entering the next stage when it starts to get real real.  Or real unreal.  Or real surreal.”

J          “I went on record as prognosticating ‘Winter’ a few weeks ago, yet I now believe the economic impact is hitting sooner and accelerating swiftly.”

K          “When the unemployment benefits expire at the end of the month, the pain will become much more real.”

J          “When the various moratoria on foreclosures expire at the end of the month,  the pain will become even more real.”

K          “The kids really cannot go back to school, but many of them will be forced to go back to school.”

J          “And of course the teachers must go back and assume even more risks than usual.  School will be a Mixmaster of the Virus.  Schools are said to be places of learning.  We will all learn shortly.”
